Meet your Art Facilitator, Alika Middleton

Alika is an artist, Expressive Art Facilitator, educator, and founder of Wild Wonder Creators. 

As an expressive arts facilitator,  Alika creates space for people to trust their artistic instincts and to confidently follow the process through creativity, spontaneity, and kindness. 

Alika's teaching style meets people where they are at while encouraging playful expression. She weaves empathy-building skills, mindfulness techniques, and social-emotional learning through art and nature exploration. She creates environments where people feel welcome, seen, heard, and supported. 

Over the last four years, Alika has facilitated mindful art experiences for young adults struggling with mental health and substance use issues at Embark Behavioral Health. 

She brings with her a decade of art education experience in K- 12th-grade international schools working with students from all over the world.
